Cycling in Deià, Mallorca
Mallorca has a road network of 1.250 km, 675 of which are unpaved roads and second-order roads with an average width of 6.50, a 20% is the mountain.
Throughout the winter, the biggest European cycling teams train on the island, thanks to its ideal training conditions.
Professional cyclists who have come to Majorca have a very good opinion on the island, such as Stephen Roche (winner of the Tour de France, Giro de Italia and World championship), who came thanks to Miguel Indurain recommendations.

From February to May, the amateur teams enjoy some deserved holidays by practising their best-liked hobby. Regional beautiful roads bring the small interior villages, where the most traditional culture and gastronomy mix.
Many professional cyclists reside in Deia, for instance, Joan Horrach, Vicente Reynes, Jameson Pantano, who took part of the big rounds (Tour de France, Giro de Italia or Vuelta a España).
